CTCA ADVISORY BOARD
An Advisory Board does not have fiduciary responsibilities since there are few governance and legal issues, which is different from a Board of Directors which do. We look for people in the tennis industry who can help us get to the right resources quickly due to their reputation and relationships. Their experiences, successes, and their rich network of contacts is greatly assisting in making the CTCA successful as quickly as possible. The Advisory Board is there to provide advice on vision and strategy and to utilize their network, not in day to day operations.
We looked for seven main dimensions in people for selection to the Advisory Board: network, industry expertise, domain expertise, marketing, information dissemination, outside of industry, and halo effect. As we grow we eventually want to have a representative from each of the ten CIF Sections in the state and a representative of each of the Divisions in CIF-SS. If interested please feel free to contact us.
